Hunter Valley Dining at voco Kirkton Park

Dining at voco Kirkton Park happens across three venues on one estate of 70 acres in Pokolbin, in the heart of Hunter Valley wine country. Locavore is our estate-to-plate restaurant, open for dinner seven nights a week. Epoche is the all-day lounge bar, where the wood-fired oven runs from mid morning until late. The Conservatory is the light-filled room where breakfast and high tea happen, looking out over the rose garden to the Brokenback Range.

Everyone is welcome, whether you are staying with us or driving in for the evening.

Dinner at Locavore is a la carte from 5:30pm to 9pm, seven nights. The menu moves with the seasons to showcase local Hunter Valley produce, so it is worth coming back.

Portfolio Executive Chef Virender Singh and Head Chef Daniel Taggart cook modern Australian food with classical technique and simple, well-balanced flavours. Dinner only, and bookings are recommended.

MAKE A BOOKING

Epoche is the casual end of the estate, open from 10am to 10pm and often later for drinks. With all-day dining, you can come in for lunch or dinner. Wood-fired pizzas, cheeseboards and comfort food, with craft beer, cocktails and Hunter Valley wine.

Walk in, no booking needed. Inside there is a fireplace and a pool table. Outside there are lounges and seating, an outdoor fireplace and the pizza oven.

High tea runs Wednesday to Sunday from 12pm to 3pm in The Conservatory and Locavore. Sit inside or out, with beautiful views over the rose garden. Choose the Classic High Tea or High Cheese, and add a Teddy Bears Picnic for the kids. Bookings are essential.

Breakfast is a gourmet buffet in The Conservatory, from 7am to 10am Monday to Friday and from 6:30am to 10:30am on weekends. The room looks out over the rose garden to the Brokenback Range, which makes it a lovely spot for a slow start to the day.

Open to everyone, staying with us or not, and there are no bookings needed or taken. Just come down.

Locavore Private is the private dining room in the main building, designed by Greg Natale, with its own courtyard to step out into. It seats 20, or up to 30 for cocktails.

Staying guests can order to the room from 7am to 9pm. Scan the QR code on the in-room TV or on the guest map and the in-room dining menu opens on your phone.

Drinks are bottled wine, sparkling piccolos, beer, coffee, tea and other bottled non alcoholic options.

Our menus are built around an estate-to-plate philosophy and move with the seasons. The chefs use fresh herbs, edible flowers and produce from our kitchen garden whenever available. They also work with growers, artisan producers and wineries across the Hunter Valley.

voco Kirkton Park is at 336 Oakey Creek Road, Pokolbin, on 70 acres in the middle of Hunter Valley wine country, around two hours from Sydney and about an hour from Newcastle Airport. Parking on the estate is free for restaurant guests as well as for guests staying with us.
