The gourmet buffet
Breakfast is a full buffet, and it is a generous one.
Start cold: seasonal sliced fruit, stewed fruits and compote, natural and fruit yoghurts, house-made Bircher muesli, toasted granola and seed mix, and a run of cereals. The bakery side has croissants, pain au chocolat and Danish pastries out of the oven, artisan sourdough, multigrain and white loaf, English muffins and Belgian sugar waffles, with peanut butter, honey, berry preserves, marmalade and Vegemite to go on them.
Then there is a cheese board of aged Australian cheddar, triple cream brie and a Hunter Valley feta, with dried fruits and toasted nuts, double smoked ham and salami, and a salad section with leaves grown nearby, cucumber, tomato, onion and crushed avocado.
Hot, it is Hunter Valley smoked streaky bacon with a honey glaze, free-range scrambled eggs, Hunter style pork sausages, baked beans with local tomato and thyme, sauteed Swiss brown and button mushrooms, roasted vine tomatoes with rosemary, potato hash, and a warm bowl that changes with the season.
The pancake station cooks them to order, with maple syrup, chocolate sauce or fruit compote, shaved chocolate and whipped cream. From the kitchen you can also order eggs any way you like them, an omelette with a choice of fillings, porridge with berries, banana, brown sugar or stewed fruit, and poached eggs with either Canadian ham or smoked salmon and hollandaise.
There is a dedicated gluten free section as well, with cereals, banana bread, a sweet muffin and sliced bread.
Coffee from our coffee machine is included in the price.

Breakfast is open to everyone, whether you are staying with us or not, and there are no bookings needed or taken.
Children are welcome, and it is $15 for under 12s. A 10% surcharge applies on Sundays and 15% on public holidays. The buffet has vegetarian and vegan options and a dedicated gluten free section. For allergies or other dietary needs, please get in touch before you come. Parking on the estate is free.
Breakfast works out cheaper if you add it to your room rate before the morning, either when you book, by calling us, or at check-in.
